Committees play a vital role in the operational framework of LICA. They engage members in both the development and delivery of services, reflect member perspectives in decision-making, and assist in meeting member needs through active collaboration.
The chairperson of a committee is an individual elected to lead a particular committee within an organization. A chairperson has authority and responsibility over their committee and its members. They are expected to ensure its smooth functioning and that the members perform their designated duties. The Chairperson must make the most of all his/her committee members, building and leading the team and communicate with committee members throughout the year.
